Brainwave Charters and Vacation Resort is the destination diehard
saltwater anglers and their non angling companions rely on to break the
bleak winter months. Located in Port Jimenez, Costa Rica, sultry breezes

temperatures and feet of snow. Our season starts the first week in
December and runs through the first week in April. Truly a tropical
setting, Brainwave Charters and Vacation Resort is located just minutes
from the Corcavado National Rainforest. Monkeys, Macaws and monster
Sailfish, Marlin, Dorado, Tuna, Rooster Fish, Jacks and more are just a
taste of Brainwave. Nestled in the rainforest, but still sitting on
the Pacific coast, guests are treated to the complete coastal rainforest
experience.

Regular Fishing/Vacation Packages
Include: 6 days 5 nights of full
lodging at our Villa or guest houses; A full maid & laundry service for
you and your party; 3 gourmet meals a day; 3 full days of fishing on
board one of our deep sea or insure vessels with our experienced
captains who will put you on the fish! You simply choose the species you
want to pursue and you are off to cast for the fish of a lifetime. When
we say you choose the fish, we mean it! if trolling for marlin over 1000
lb is your ultimate, then trolling it is. If casting for giant rooster
fish with lures or live bait is what brought you here, then we only aim
to please. Our fleet is equipped with only the best equipment, including
Penn Reels and Daiwa Rods.
Did you catch a keeper? Why not bring it back to the resort? Our chefs
are happy to prepare your trophy for you and your party. What better way
to enjoy the entire tropical fishing experience then to dine on your
catch!
Two charters during the 2009 season may have broken light line records

Not An Angler?
Your stay with Brainwave also includes a day trip
to a secluded botanical garden where many of the rarest orchids, ginger
flowers and exotic fruits that you can actually eat in the field, grow
year round! Star fruit, pickle trees, coconuts and chocolate trees are
just a few of the edible treasures. More of an animal lover? Your day
trip can also include a visit to a local animal rehabilitation center;
where animals both endangered or injured are sent to recover and heal.
Sloths, monkeys, birds and more call this remote jungle location home!
Aside from the scheduled day trips, Brainwave also offers their guests
the opportunity to just relax and enjoy the Costa Rica experience. Lay
on the beach, swim; enjoy the zip line courses; enjoy a bike ride; walk
through the rainforest on our property or just do nothing at all!
