Fall Turkey Hunts
Vermont fall turkey hunting is great for
the experienced as well as the novice. Utilizing the same 18,000 +
private acres of hunting area, our guides locate several feeding flocks
the day before the hunt; ensuring there are plenty of birds to choose
from. The hunt can be planned according to the hunter’s preference and
needs. If breaking flocks apart and then calling them back with some
soft lost calling is key, Vermont Outdoor Connections can break the
flocks and have them running into your lap from all directions. If
setting up along a feeding location and letting the birds come naturally
with minimal walking from the hunter is important, Our guides can put you in the hot
seat! Our success rate for the fall season runs around 100%.
For the novice hunter,
fall turkey hunting can be the best introduction to traditional turkey
hunting, while still allowing the new hunter to take either sex. Toms or
hens may be harvested during the Vermont and New Hampshire fall seasons.
We have no minimum size a hunter can harvest. Once you find a turkey
that fits your bill, it's yours for the taking!
